He was born in Marinette son of the late Charles and Ethel (Johnson) Knapp and spent most of his life at Knapp's Tavern in town of Grover.
Cub was best known for riding his bike & unicycle in parades.  He once rode to St. Helen, Michigan, 300 miles away.  Cub loved flying to Arizona to see his sister.  He worked at Patz Pallet Co. in Pound and Goodwill in Marinette and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover.
He is survived by two sisters, MaryLou Knaak and Melodae Holmgren & Clem Lesperance; seven nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of Life Sunday, May 6th, at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.  Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
A special thank you to Robert and Sue LeFever and Katrina for the wonderful care and love they gave Cub in the last 12 years of his life.
