 Our loving Husband, Father & Grandfather Mylon Merrill Lange, age 87, of Grover, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 17th. He was born on April 1, 1930 to the late Theodore and Bertha (Hein) Lange. Mylon was a logger and farmer & beekeeper. He also was a life-long member of the St John's Lutheran Church where he held many positions. He served on the church counsel, as head usher and janitor while also belonging to the churches Men's Club. He also proudly served the Grover-Porterfield fire department for 35 years. He was also an active sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with his buddies.
He married the former Janet Hartwig on May 3, 1952. Mylon and Janet were blessed with 65 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Janet; four children, sons, Mark ( Sandra) and Kevyn both of Grover; Two daughters, Janice Holder and Karyn (Scott) Berg both of  Peshtigo;  a  daughter-in- law, Jeanne Lange of Harmony; and proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.   He is further survived by, his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hartwig, Mary Lou Knaak and Sandra Heil. He is also survived by Frieda his cat.
He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother Lyle and a son Rand. He is further preceded by In-Laws Wallace and Jeanette Hartwig and Brothers in law Donald and Wallace Jr. Hartwig. 
Visitation will be held this Wednesday, December 20th at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover from 11 am until the time of services at 1pm. Pastor Luke Myslik will be officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
